Bristol Samba is a community band of drummers and dancers playing energetic Brazilian-based music for celebrating and dancing. The samba band and dancers perform at festivals, parties and events throughout the year, raising the roof and creating a vibrant atmosphere. Bristol Samba promotes, supports and develops percussion-based music and related carnival arts, particularly in our local community. The band has been performing for over twenty-five years, since its formation under the name Bristol School of Samba.


The Big Boom at St Werburghs

Our next gig is a Bristol Samba biggie! St Werburghs Farm Fair on Saturday 9th June. Fun starts at noon and we'll be making a BIG BOOM at 4pm!

Trinity Garden Party

You wait ages for a Bristol Samba gig then two come along at once! After a fab Redland May Fair we'll next be performing at Trinity Garden Party this Sunday, 13th May. We'll be performing two sets, one at 2pm and one at 3pm so you've no excuse :) Fun starts at noon!

Spring's in the Air!

... oh yes it is! We're hoping for sunshine this May Bank Holiday as we love Redland May Fair! Free family fun starts at 1pm and we'll be performing around 4pm. More details at Redland & Cotham Amenities Society. Our first big gig of the summer season, whoop! See you there!
